We had a great turnout for our POW/MIA remembrance ceremony. The Post would like to thank Louise Evans and her family for the presentation and update regarding the status of her brother. He is a Vietnam POW/MIA that is missing since March 1969. It touched all of us that our remembrance ceremony involved one of our Post family. We thank all that attended this moving event.

Salute to Veterans Pancake Breakfast!
Thank you to the Tornado Alley Young Marines for another successful Pancake Breakfast, we had a great turnout. If you missed it, be sure to attend next year. The members would also like to thank the Young Marines for all the work they performed around the Post; from setting up tables and chairs for our meeting to all the weeds and brush they removed from around our building. Thank you very much!

Our World War II Recognition Day was a success and a very memorable day at the Post. Eight of our WW II Veterans came to the event and they had a great time.  We had lunch, shared experiences, took pictures and most of all honored our veterans of the "Greatest Generation".

Valentines Day Dinner and Dance!
On Tuesday February 14, 2012 we will have our annual Valentines Dinner. Dinner is from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, music is from 5:00 - 9:00 PM. We will have a choice of two entrees, Ribeye Steak or Grilled Chicken Breast Dinners with Baked Potato, vegatebles and salad. The price for the dinnner and dance is $15.00 per person. Our entertainment for the evening will be Jeb Beck. Jeb plays a variety of music on his keyboard and provides a piano bar atmosphere that will be very appropriate for the evening. Tickets are on sale now! Stop by the Post and get your tickets early so that your place is verified and so we have an idea of how much food to order. Be sure to get to the Post for this event, you will be pleased.

St Patrick's Day!
Saturday March 17 we will host our annual St Patty's Day feast of corn beef and cabbage in the Canteen. We will begin serving about 2:30 PM.
Saturday evening from 7:00 - 11:00 PM we are having a dance and our entertainment will be Range Fire. They have played for us in the past so be sure to get out Saturday night and welcome them back to the Post. They play a variety of music from country & western, oldies, rock and blues. Don't miss it.

Thanks to the support from some very generous members and staff, we are doing our best to make some positive changes to increase sales in our canteen. After examining our sales we realized the one item that has held steady these last few months is Food. So we have added 2 more nights in which we offer dinners. The third Tuesday of the month - Chicken Fried steak dinners from 6 to 8 for only $5.00.
